  13.   Thank you for purchasing this CD-Rom where we present 22 exciting
  14.   and sexy Adult Film Stars who reveal it all, explicitly, during 
  15.   their men's magazine type photo shoot.  Plus, we've now added 
  16.   multimedia, so that you can experience the photo shoot, set to 
  17.   an exciting music soundtrack.  And, we've also added a few extra 
  18.   models at the end, so that you can see what we have on our other CD-Rom's.

  20.   We hope that you will be pleasantly surprised at the ease in
  21.   which you may view quality images through our Windows
  22.   viewing program.  However, if you have a DOS viewing program
  23.   that you prefer to use, or if you don't have Windows, then
  24.   each of the images on this CD may be viewed by instructing
  25.   your DOS software to look in our Talent Directories for
  26.   either GIF or TARGA images.  Each model featured has her own
  27.   talent directory.  
  28.   
  29.   The following instructions assume you are in Windows and
  30.   using a Mouse. However, you may move about without a mouse,
  31.   either by using the arrow keys and hitting the ENTER key or
  32.   by depressing the ALT key + the letter which is underlined
  33.   for the function you desire at the same time (i.e., "Next"
  34.   would be ALT + N).

  36.   To View Images:
  37.   
  38.   Double Click on the REG Publishing Group Icon.  Double Click
  39.   on the COD Viewer Icon and you will then be presented with a 
  40.   visual Table of Contents.  The Table of Contents consists of 3
  41.   different pages.  You may move from page to page by clicking
  42.   on NEXT or depressing ATL+N.  To go back to the previous
  43.   page, click on PREVIOUS or depress ALT+P. 
  44.   
  45.   To view the images of any Model, click on her name or use
  46.   your arrow keys to move the selection screen to her name and
  47.   hit ENTER.  A preview image of the Model will appear on the
  48.   left side of the screen.  The files available for viewing
  49.   will appear on the right.  Underneath the listing of files
  50.   are six selection buttons.  They are:
  51.   
  52.   1.   640 x 480 GIF:  These are 8 bit and up to 256 Color Images. 
  53.   You must have a video card that supports 256 Color images at
  54.   640 x 480 pixels.  To select GIF's without a mouse depress
  55.   ALT+6. 
  56.   
  57.   2.  1024 x 768 GIF:  These are 8 bit and up to 256 Color Images.
  58.   You must have a video card that supports 256 Color images at
  59.   1024 x 768 pixels.  To select GIF's without a mouse depress
  60.   ALT+1.  These are the same images as 640 x 480, except larger.

  62.   3.   Targa:    These are 24 bit, true color images and they
  63.   are exactly the same as the GIF images above, except that
  64.   they are a higher resolution.  You must have a video card 
  65.   that support more than 256 Color images in order to view them 
  66.   at their best.  (i.e., 32,000, 65,000 or 16.7 Million Colors).  
  67.   In the event that you view these Images at a lesser resolution, 
  68.   you may experience some dithering, especially if you only have 
  69.   a 256 Color Video Card.  If you only have a 256 Color Video Card, 
  70.   then you should only be looking at GIF images.  To select TARGA 
  71.   images without a mouse depress ALT+T.

  73.   4.   Table of Contents:    This button will return you to
  74.   the Table of Contents. To select without a mouse depress
  75.   ALT+C.

  77.   5.   Multimedia:  This button when depressed will start the 
  78.   Multimedia Photo Shoot.  We've arranged the images sequentially
  79.   so that you can experience the feel of being on the set as each
  80.   image is presented to you, with an exciting music soundtrack. In 
  81.   the event that there are more than one .AWM files, then you may
  82.   select which file you want.

  84.   6.   Slide Show:    This feature when clicked upon will
  85.   present images to you in a slide show format.  It will present
  86.   the images which are currently displayed in the file list. 
  87.   There are 2 different types of Slides Shows.  The first type is 
  88.   where you click on this button or depress ALT+S and the program
  89.   will then display to you all of the Model's images.  The
  90.   other type of Slide Show is where you can select the images
  91.   you only want to see from this talent.  For example, if you
  92.   only want to see images 1, 3 and 5, then while depressing
  93.   the CTRL key, you take your mouse and click on files 1, 3
  94.   and 5 so they are highlighted.  Then click on the Slide Show
  95.   key and your three images will appear automatically.  Sorry,
  96.   but this feature is only available with a mouse.

  99.   General Trouble-shooting:

  101.   Q:   The GIF images appear blotchy and dithered on my
  102.   screen?
  103.   
  104.   A:   This is usually resolved by setting the resolution of
  105.   your video card to match what you intend to view.  For
  106.   example, if you have a 24 bit video card then you should be
  107.   viewing the 24 bit TARGA images, not the 8 bit GIF's. Some
  108.   video cards do a poor job of displaying 8 bit images when
  109.   set to the 24 bit mode.   
  110.   
  111.   Also be sure to set the size correctly, too.  If you have set
  112.   up your video drivers for 640 x 480 at 256 colors, then looking
  113.   at a 256 color image in a larger size may appear to be dithered, too.
  114.   Remember 640 x 480 format images were designed for 14-15 inch color
  115.   monitors.  The 1024 x 768 format images are designed for 17 inch 
  116.   monitors or larger.

  120.   Q:   The TARGA images appear blotchy and dithered on my
  121.   screen?
  122.   
  123.   A:   There are 2 possible answers.  
  124.        
  125.        1: You only have a 256 color video card and it's 
  126.   attempting to read 16.7 million colors.  Since it only has
  127.   256 colors, it must dither the image down to 256.  Some 8
  128.   bit video cards may not even display the TARGA image if
  129.   selected.  Therefore, if you only have a 256 Color Video
  130.   Card, then you should be viewing the GIF images.  
  131.   
  132.        2:  You have a 24 bit video card, but your resolution
  133.   (video driver) may be set to 256 Colors.  Therefore, reset
  134.   your video resolution higher, preferably to 16.7 Million. 
  135.   If not, select 65,000 or 32,000 Colors.

  140.   Q:   I want to use my DOS based viewing program with this
  141.   CD-Rom?
  142.   
  143.   A:   Most DOS based viewing programs permit you to select a
  144.   path for viewing images.  Therefore, instruct your software
  145.   to go to the TALENT directory of the model you desire. 
  146.   There are 27 talent sub-directories.  i.e.,Talent\Talent01,
  147.   Talent\Talent02, Talent\Talent03.

  149.   While your DOS based program will allow you to view still images,
  150.   it will not run the Multimedia Presentation.  You will need to
  151.   play those in Windows 3.1 or greater.

  155.   Q:   When I play the multimedia files, they appear to run slow
  156.   or drag?
  157.  
  158.   A:   If your video card is set to 65,000 color or more, your 
  159.   drivers may not be able to write to the screen fast enough.  
  160.   Therefore, you may have to change your video mode to 256 color.

  162.   Another possible solution, is to make sure from your video card
  163.   manufacturer that you have the latest drivers.  Video Card companies
  164.   are always updating them.  And they get faster and faster.

  168.   Q:   I don't have Windows 3.1 or I would prefer to use a DOS
  169.   based viewing program but I don't know where to obtain one? 
  170.   Can you help me?

  173.   There are quite a few shareware programs available.

  176.   Q:   I receive a General Protection Fault that indicates that my 
  177.   THREED.VBX file is not current. 
  178.  
  179.   A:   The reason for this is that we have discovered that other 
  180.   software vendors have been careless in their installation procedures.
  181.   To correct the problem, copy the THREED.VBX file which is in the program 
  182.   directory of our CD-Rom to your system.  The best way to do this is to go 
  183.   into File Manager of Windows and rename your current THREED.VBX file to 
  184.   THREED.OLD. THREED.VBX resides in the Windows\System directory.  Then 
  185.   copy the THREED.VBX file that resides in our program directory of the 
  186.   CD-Rom to the Windows\System directory.
  187.  
  188.   Another reason you may receive this fault is that there is more than one 
  189.   version of THREED.VBX residing on your hard drive.  You only need
  190.   one version of THREED.VBX and that is in your Windows\System file. 
  191.   Careless programmers may have caused this file to also be written to
  192.   other directories when installing their program.  To correct this 
  193.   solution, rename those THREED.VBX files to THREED.OLD.
